I bow to you..

DSCF1324The crux moment: I knew because the excitement had worn off - the atmosphere turned awkward and forced.

Then, a petite jolly man appeared in the room with all beige walls. His confidence was large enough to feed a small country.

I was forced to confront all that I doubted. My body was invisibly shivering while my neck shot sparks into my shoulders. “Is it safe to come out? Am I among peers or the court?” I still could not be sure but there was promise. Poker face maintained. Until Mr. Petite Jolly Man (also known as DEAN of the school) called my bluff our bluff – He won our hearts in sixty seconds flat! Forty two of us bowed to him!

Shortly after the Second Lesson of the Night: the secret to a happy life as a chefmake people HAPPY and applaud yourself

Wait was I included when he called us chefs? Me, a chef?"

At that moment I realized my ultimate purpose of going to culinary school is to… yeah become a c-h-e-f. Me, a professional chef. This isn’t a dream. No one is going to wake me up.

This just in, confirmation: “For homework read chapter one of your safely sanitation workbook and read chapter one of “on cooking” with the corresponding workbook pages”

The affair is young and thrilling….tomorrow is the day I look you straight in the eyes and surrender my pride.
